A note on this review
We sell these pens, so we are not a neutral party, and you should keep that in mind. What we can do is be specific about what the chrome carts 2g disposable is designed to do, where it falls short, and what you should verify for yourself.
Design and feel
The first thing you notice is the presentation. The black outer box and the crest carry the whole identity, and the flavor art adds a burst of color. The pen itself is matte and compact considering it holds 2 grams, with a window on the side so you can see the oil.
It is wider than a slim pen, so it sits more comfortably in a bag or a jacket than in a tight pocket. Matte finishes can also pick up fingerprints, and that is a small price for the look.
The draw
There is no button, and that keeps things simple. The ceramic coil is built for gentle heat, and short, unhurried pulls suit it best. Pull very hard and the flavor can start to scorch, a fault common to many disposables.
Thick oil in cold weather can make any pen feel blocked. Warm it in your hand for a few minutes before you assume something is wrong.
Battery and charging
With 2 grams on board, you will probably recharge at least once, so USB-C is a welcome inclusion. Plenty of people mistake a flat battery for an empty pen, so glance at the window before you give up on one.
Value
A $20 single works out at $10 per gram, and a mixed pack brings the per-unit price down further. That is competitive, but remember that low cost on its own says nothing about quality. Value only counts if the product is what it claims to be.
What a review cannot tell you
No reviewer can taste their way to a contaminant result. For that you need a batch-specific certificate of analysis. Before buying from any seller, us included, ask for it, and use our authenticity guide to read it.
Bottom line
If you want a capable, low-fuss 2g all-in-one with a bold look, and you are of legal age in a place where it is allowed, this format makes sense. Start with a single, check it over, and move up only once you are satisfied.
How it holds up day to day
A big fill changes how you treat a pen. You will carry it for longer, so it gets knocked around more and sees more temperature swings than a small device would. Keep it out of hot cars and away from the bottom of a crowded bag, and it should stay trouble-free for far longer. The most common complaints with any disposable, from clogs to weak draws, usually come down to heat, cold or charge rather than a fault.
Who it is not for
If you vape heavily every day and already own a battery you like, cartridges may cost less over time and create less waste, since you are not throwing away a battery each time. And if you are sensitive to sweet flavors, much of the menu will feel like too much, though Chrome OG and Strawberry Cough are worth a look. It is also not for anyone new to vaping who wants to be sure about a low dose, because you need to take it slowly with an unfamiliar product.
